Our pigments are physiologically safe, acid and alkali resistant, heat stable to 800°C, have high UV light stability, and do not conduct electricity. Pearlescent pigments achieve their true appearance over a whit base. However, interesting effects can be achieved by painting over various background colors because of their translucency. Cres-Lite® Pearlescent pigments can be used in many mixing systems. 1 to 2 lbs. of pigment per gallon of mixing liquid is recommended. Compatible dyes and tints can be used to achieve various effects. For best results, a paint mixer should be used.
